Our Educational Diagnosticians are essential members of the special education team, dedicated to supporting students’ academic and developmental success. They work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to identify students’ learning strengths and areas of need through comprehensive educational assessments.
Educational Diagnosticians evaluate cognitive, academic, and processing skills to help determine eligibility for special education services and to guide the development of effective, individualized instructional plans. They play a key role in interpreting assessment data, writing detailed evaluation reports, and contributing to the creation and implementation of each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Diagnosticians may participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to share evaluation results, collaborate with team members, and support compliance with state and federal requirements—helping ensure each student’s plan meets their unique needs.
